Yes. Everything in the portfolio was drawn by Brian Lai specifically for the person wearing it. The studio does not tattoo copied or stock artwork.

Brian will not repeat a piece, but he is glad to design something new in the same spirit. Reference the piece you like in your request and describe what draws you to it.

Brian adds new pieces regularly as projects are completed — typically several times a month. The portfolio reflects recent and representative work across styles, so checking back every few weeks will show fresh examples. Do the portfolio photos show healed tattoos or fresh ones?

Most photos show freshly completed work, which shows the full saturation and crispness of the linework.
